SciPy
A collection of open source software for scientific computing in Python.
Based on Anaconda installation script.
About SciPy
The SciPy Stack is a collection of open source software for scientific computing in Python, and particularly a specified set of core packages that includes:
Python, a general purpose programming language.
NumPy, the fundamental package for numerical computation.
The SciPy library, a collection of numerical algorithms and domain-specific toolboxes, including signal processing, optimization, statistics and much more.
Matplotlib, a mature and popular plotting package.
pandas, providing high-performance, easy to use data structures.
SymPy, for symbolic mathematics and computer algebra.
IPython, a rich interactive interface, letting you quickly process data and test ideas.
nose, a framework for testing Python code.
The SciPy installation is based on Anaconda minimal package. Anaconda is a completely free Python distribution. It includes more than 400 of the most popular Python packages for science, math, engineering, and data analysis.
Currently Python 2.7 and Python 3 environments are available.

CRESCO7
3.9.18
module load scipy39
XCRESCO
3.6.5
module load scipy/1.1.0–python–3.6.

Note
On the CRESCO8 cluster, the version of Python 3.9.18 is already present when the environment is started.
For clusters CRESCO6 and CRESCO7 the list of python modules available can be obtained by typing:
conda list
after loading the appropriate SciPy module.
