Licensed software
Some software packages (Comsol and Ansys) available on ENEA GRID are distributed under commercial or restricted licenses. Access to specific applications is restricted to authorized user groups. As a result, the use of certain software is not automatically available to all users. Restrictions are generally applied to commercial applications or to software whose licensing terms require controlled access.
Users can verify whether they are authorized to use a specific application by running:
pts membership $USER
and checking whether their account belongs to the group:
projadmin:por-licenses-<software-name>
where <software-name> identifies the licensed software package.
