Getting Started

Welcome to the CRESCO HPC documentation!

In this section, you can find an overview of how to get started with the HPC infrastructure and the requirements needed to access and use the computing resources.

1. Create you account and get access to the clusters

Start from the General Information section to create your personal accout and understand how to login in the HPC infrastructure.

2. Select the infrastructure

In the Clusters section you can find the different available clusters with their detailed technical documentation. For each cluster you will find:

  • Hardware specifications

  • Available queues

  • Resource limits

  • MPI environments

  • Specific configuration details

3. Select the Infrastructure

To learn how to use the HPC infrastructure, follow the Tutorial section. Here you can find:

  • Information about filesystems

  • How to transfer I/O data

  • How to use the job scheduler

  • Examples of job submission scripts

  • Examples of MPI execution

  • Environment configuration

  • Software available in the clusters
