CRESCO1
================================

The **CRESCO1 cluster**, located in Portici, was part of the ENEA HPC
infrastructure and was **decommissioned on November 18, 2014**.

After the decommissioning, the compute nodes were reused in the **cloud
infrastructure of the DTE-ICT division**.


System Overview
---------------

CRESCO1 was an HPC cluster composed of compute nodes based on
**IBM System x3850-M2 servers** equipped with **Intel Xeon Tigerton E7330 processors**.

The system was interconnected through an **InfiniBand network** and
integrated with storage and service nodes within the ENEA HPC
infrastructure.
